The Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon left Beirut today after a three-day official visit to Lebanon. During the visit, he met Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and discussed with them several issues concerning the question of Lebanon's commitment to the implementation of international resolutions. The Secretary General also toured southern Lebanon, where he inspected enhanced United Nations Interim Force (UNIFIL) in Lebanon and participated in a conference on democracy in Beirut.
