Italian President arrives in Beirut

Italian President Giorgio Napolitano arrived here today on a visit to Lebanon during which he will meet with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman and a number of officials.
The talks will focus on the developments in the Middle East peace process in addition to ways of enhancing relations between the two countries in all fields.
The Italian President will also make an inspection tour of the Italian battalion participating in the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
