The Director General of United Nations Office at Geneva Qasim-Jomart Toqayev opened here today a photo gallery reflecting five decades of partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the World Food Program. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Office in Geneva Dr. Abdulwahab Attar said the photo gallery is an evidence of the appreciation shown by the international community for the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia throughout the world. "In 2011, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provided $50 million for the relief of Somali people. The Food Program thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for this support, awarding him the Prize of World Champion in the Battle Against Hunger," Dr. Attar said.
