The Saudi-Turkish Trade and Investment Meeting started here today with the participation of a delegation of Turkish businessmen as well as Turkish Prime Minister Ali Babacan and the Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. The meeting is organized by Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In a speech at the opening ceremony, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Saleh bin Abdullah Kamel said that the volume of Turkish exports to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached $2.1 billion, while the Saudi exports to Turkey reached $2.4 billion. "More than 200 Saudi companies are investing in Turkey," Kamel added.
