Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi received here today the ambassador of the United Kingdom (U.K.) to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sir Tom Phillips. During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop relations and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of petroleum and mining as well as other issues of common concern. During the reception, they also reviewed the current situation of the international oil market, the Kingdom's role in the stability of the market, environmental issues, and coordination between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Britain at international conferences on the environment. The meeting was attended by Advisor to the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Muhanna, and Adviser at the Office of the Minister Khalid Abu Al-Leif.
