Abu Dhabi's National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has won an AED 550 million contract from India's Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) for the engineering, procurement and construction of Platforms 14 & 16 in the Mumbai High Field. NPCC had entered two rounds of tough competition with several international companies and local providers before winning the contract, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM". The project includes the engineering, procurement of materials, manufacturing, transportation, installation and trial-run for five offshore rigs, said a statement from NPCC.
