Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs and Head of The Team in Charge of Issues of Subsidies and Dumping, has said that the government of India issued on 30/12/2011, a decision cancelling dumping duties imposed on Saudi exports of polypropylene product. He pointed out that an investigation was opened by Indian authorities on 24/2/2009 AD in the case of dumping of polypropylene product against SABIC; National Tasnie' (Industrialization) Company; Mutaqadimah (Advanced) Petrochemical Company from the Kingdom, and against other companies from the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Singapore, indicating that anti-dumping duties were imposed according to this investigations, before the formation of the Saudi Team to follow up the issues of dumping and subsidies. Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman noted that after the formation of the Team on 13/4/2011, efforts with the Indian side have been intensified to end the case, expressing his thanks to the Indian side for their cooperation to resolve the issue satisfactorily to both parties.
