Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, inaugurated here yesterday the development and modernization of Dates Plant, affiliated with The Irrigation and Drainage Authority, at a total cost of SR 50 million. The ceremony was attended by Prince Badr bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jelawi, Governor of Al-Ahsa, and Dr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Balghunaim, the Minister of Agriculture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Irrigation and Drainage Authority. Prince Mohammed bin Fahd expressed in a press statement his pleasure over what he has seen at the Plant of well organization and production of high-levels by Saudi citizens, which indicates the keenness of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on citizens, Saudization and the homeland.
