A delegation of the Grain Silos and Flour Mills Organization (GSFMO) headed by its Director General Engineer Walid bin Abdul Karim Al-Khuraiji participated in the works of the regular 34th meeting of the International Grains Council held recently in Moscow. During the meeting, discussions focused on the Council's budget; a report on the global areas planted with grains; the volume of grains' expected production; and their prospective quantities to be exported including wheat. The delegation also attended a Forum, on the fringe of the 34th meeting, which was organized by the Russian Grains Union. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is represented by the Grain Silos and Flour Mills Organization joined the membership of the International Grains Council on January 09, 2010.
