Speakers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Shura, Representatives, National and Ummah (national) Councils began here today their 5th regular meeting under the Chairmanship of Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura. In his speech delivered during the opening session, Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh lauded the efforts exerted by the GCC Secretariat General to raise the level and quality of joint action march of the GCC Member States. He also reaffirmed permanent standing of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the King and people of Kingdom of Bahrain against those who want to compromise the very security, national identity and sovereignty of Bahrain and its citizens. Dr. Al Al-Sheikh pointed out the success of the GCC in resolving the Yemeni crisis. --More
