Former Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah has said that the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are currently witnessing their best prosperous stages - thanks to the directives and support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. In a press statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) at a farewell ceremony hosted by the Kuwaiti Embassy here last night at the end of the Ambassador's tenure in the Kingdom following his appointment as Minister of Information in Kuwait, he said that Saudi-Kuwaiti relations have been characterized by strength and a joint history bringing together the two brotherly countries and their peoples. Sheikh Hamad expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense; and other princes for the hospitality accorded to him during his works in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
