Former Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah has said that the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are currently witnessing their best prosperous stages - thanks to the directives and support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. In a press statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) at a farewell ceremony hosted by the Kuwaiti Embassy here last night at the end of the Ambassador's tenure in the Kingdom following his appointment as Minister of Information in Kuwait, he said that Saudi-Kuwaiti relations have been characterized by strength and a joint history bringing together the two brotherly countries and their peoples. Sheikh Hamad expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense; and other princes for the hospitality accorded to him during his works in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony was attended by Prince Dr. Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Relations; Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Khalid, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA); Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, Minister of Social Affairs; Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood, Undersecretary of the Governorate of Riyadh region; Ambassador Ala'eddin Al-Askari, Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Affairs; a number of officials; and members of diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
