Awwal 22, 1432 H/Feb 25, 2011, SPA -- Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, arrived in Kuwait tonight to deputize the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Kuwait's receptions to mark the 50th anniversary of the country's independence, 20th anniversary of liberation of Kuwait and fifth anniversary of the Emir of Kuwait's ascending the throne. At Kuwait International airport, Prince Naif was received by Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait; Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Heir Apparent of Kuwait; Jassem bin Mohammed Al-Khurafi, Speaker of the Parliament; Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Deputy Commander of the National Guard; Sheikh Nasser Almohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister; Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Consultant Rashed bin Abdulmohsen Al-Hamad, Deputy Premier for Legal Affairs, Minister of Justice and Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs; Sheikh Ali Jarallah Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister for Emiri Court Affairs; Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ministers, senior government and protocol officials, General Saleh bin Ali Al-Mohayya, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Fayez, Saudi ambassador to Kuwait; members of the embassy, senior army, national guard and police commanders. Prince Naif was accompanied by senior protocol officials. He left Riyadh earlier. At Riyadh airbase, he was seen off by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Mohammed, Director General of the Follow-up Department at the Ministry of Interior; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz; Prince Fahd bin Naif bin Abdulaziz; Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Salem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; and senior officials.
