Sultan Mohammed Ahmed Abdulqadir, an Ethiopian national, was beheaded in Assir Region today after being convicted of smuggling a quantity of hashish, said a statement released by the Ministry of Interior. The culprit was convicted by the Public Court and the verdict was approved by both the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. The statement confirmed the determination of the Saudi government to counter all kinds of narcotics and severely punish the criminals.
