Six people were killed and one person was injured on Monday in a road accident in southwest China's Guizhou province, rescuers said. The accident occurred at 6 a.m. in Dafang County along a section of the highway that runs from the provincial capital of Guiyang to the city of Bijie, when a sports utility vehicle collided with a truck, Xinhua quoted a police officer with the county's fire fighting team which joined rescue efforts as saying. The injured person has been rushed to hospital, and further information was not immediately known. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
