Four people were killed and others injured after a tourist bus rear-ended a truck on a highway in southwest China Thursday morning, rescuers said. The accident occurred at around 4 a.m. in Majiang County, southwest China's Guizhou Province. The number of injured was not immediately known. The injured were sent to local hospitals, Xinhua quoted an official of the county's work safety bureau as saying. The bus was en route from southwest China's Sichuan Province to Shantou City in south China's Guangdong Province, the official added. Rescue work and a police investigation were underway.
