Six people died at an apartment wooden house at a suburb of the city of Nadym, Siberia, reported the press service of the local branch of the Ministry for Emergencies of the Yamalo-Nenets Automous Area. Information on the fire on the first floor of the 18-flat house was received by the duty officer on Saturday at 04.45. Only one apartment was on fire at a time a fire truck arrived at the place of the incidence. A total of 43 people and 11 units of machinery were involved in firefighting, Itar-Tass reported. According to the llatest data, five people were rescued and 20 evacuated. As a result of the fire, one apartment was damaged on the ground floor. A reason for the fire and material damaged are being specified. The fire is put out now, and psychologists work with suffered residents.
