AlHijjah 25, 1432, Nov 21, 2011, SPA -- The 11th meeting of the heads of civil retirement and social insurance agencies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states was concluded here today. The two-day meeting authorized the Permanent Technical Committee of the GCC Civil Retirement and Social Insurance Agencies to evaluate the procedures of applying the "Unified Law of Insurance Protection Extension to GCC Citizens Working in other GCC Member States." The meeting also approved a number of measures pertaining to retirement and social insurance. The conferees honored the late Assistant Governor of the General Organization for Social Insurance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Howaimel, where a shield was presented to his son.
