AlHijjah 25, 1432, Nov 21, 2011, SPA -- Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and under the direct supervision of Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Charitable Campaign has dispatched its 2nd Charity Caravan to flood-stricken areas in Pakistan. Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer, launched the caravan from the Pakistani capital of Islamabad heading for the flood-hit destinations. The kick-off ceremony was attended by Pakistan's Chairman of Bait Al-Mal (Treasury) Zumurrad Khan. In a statement, the ambassador said the caravan includes 35,000 food baskets, 15,000 blankets and 3,000 tents. On his part, Khan reiterated the thanks of the government and people of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the assistance rendered to them to alleviate the sufferings of their brethrens in those areas.
