Minister of Finance Meets Executive Director of International Energy Agency

AlHijjah 25, 1432, Nov 21, 2011, SPA - Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf received here today Maria Van Der Hoeven, the Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in the Energy Dialogue Conference (now in progress) in Riyadh.
The meeting dealt with discussions on the economic aspects of the situation of world oil markets, and prospects of cooperation between the Kingdom and the International Energy Agency.
It also focused on discussions of financial and economic aspects of the oil markets within the domain of the Group of Twenty in coordination with the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the International Energy Forum.
The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for Economic Affairs, Dr. Suleiman Al-Turki.
