AlHijjah 23, 1432, Nov 19, 2011, SPA - Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, paid here today a visit to Air Forces Command. Upon arrival, he was received by Deputy Minister of Defence, Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz; the Chief of General Staff, General Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Qabil; Air Forces Commander, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ayish; and Director General of the Office of the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Bunyan. A speech ceremony was held on this occasion. In his speech, Prince Salman said, "The Air Forces are a cornerstone of the Armed Forces and they are performing their duties such as other forces. We are proud of this country which is Qiblah for Muslims. Our country was united on the Holy Quran and Prophet's Sunnah, which have been our constitution. We are proud of the royal trust bestowed upon us in our appointment. We have been working under our leadership for the interest and prosperity of our country and people''. In a visitors' register, Prince Salman wrote, " It is my pleasure to be among the personnel of Royal Saudi Air Forces to be briefed on their sincere efforts and to be a witness of what they have achieved of high levels of training, combating readiness and continuous improvement in the defense of our beloved country and its achievements, wishing them further advancement, progress and success. In his speech, Air Forces Commander, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ayish said "We pledge loyalty and obedience to you, stressing that we should be ready round-the-clock and to be firm in continuous training as the stability of the nation depends on our ability in fighting."
