AlHijjah 23, 1432, Nov 19, 2011, SPA -- A report by the Secretariat of the Hajj Committee in Madinah stated that the number of pilgrims who came to Madinah yesterday through Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport and other reception stations, reached 28,432 pilgrims while the departing pilgrims from the Prophet's city on Friday accounted for 22,708 pilgrims, according to an official report prepared by the Committee's Unit of reports and statistics. The total number of arriving pilgrims in Madinah until yesterday reached 328,834 pilgrims while the departing pilgrims from the Prophet city on the same day accounted for 115,411 pilgrims. The number of pilgrims who still remains in Madinah amounted to 213,409 pilgrims. The official report also highlighted the proportion of pilgrims' nationalities: the highest number of pilgrims staying in Madinah are 26,707 Iranian pilgrims, followed by 23,447 Indonesian pilgrims and 22,267 Egyptian pilgrims.
