AlHijjah 21, 1432, Nov 17, 2011, SPA -- The Kremlin "fully understands" a mass application by ethnic Serbs living in Kosovo for Russian national passports and will consider their requests seriously, dpa quoted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as saying on Thursday. "In the political sense, we fully understand the motives for Serbs living in Kosovo to make such applications ... and we will study them carefully," Lavrov said, in comments reported by the Interfax news agency. Lavrov's remarks came at a Moscow press conference. The applications would be acted on "in accordance with Russian immigration law," Lavrov said.
