AlHijjah 19, 1432, Nov 15, 2011, SPA - Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland, visited here on Monday evening, Saudi Student Ibrahim Al-Harbi in the General Hospital in Manchester and he was reassured about his condition following the surgery that he underwent in the head after suffering from a severe blow from a bystander in one of the streets of Manchester on Sunday. The Ambassador listened to a briefing by doctors and Saudi Health Attaché in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Dr Ali bin Hamed Al-Ghamdi, on the condition of the Student who studies at his own expense in an institute in the City. The Ambassador told the student's family that he will follow up the health condition of their son until he is discharged from the hospital, noting that he will also follow up with the concerned authorities in Britain the investigation of the case of the attack, pointing at the same time to his confidence in the police in the city of Manchester to arrest the offender and to achieve justice. For his part, Saudi Health Attaché in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Dr Ali bin Hamed Al-Ghamdi said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the Ambassador directed to transfer the Student to a private hospital and that health expenditures should be paid by Health Attaché Office. Student Al-Harbi was subjected to a vicious attack in Manchester on Sunday and was taken to the hospital in a coma, and he is now in a stable condition after his discharge from the Intensive Care Unit.
