year-old Saudi student who sustained serious head injuries after he was brutally beaten in Manchester, England, on Saturday is recovering. Police have released closed circuit television footage of a suspect wanted in connection with the attack on Ibrahim Al-Harbi, the Manchester Evening News reported, Tuesday. Detectives now want to trace the person responsible who was white, about 1.75 meters tall, of medium build, with a tan and Mohican haircut and possibly of eastern European origin. Al-Harbi was taken to hospital where he underwent an operation on his head. The police have informed his family, according to the BBC. Al-Harbi is studying at his own expense at one of the city's institutes. Sources said Al-Harbi's sister, believed to be a student at Manchester University, visited her brother Sunday and said he was in stable condition. Manchester Evening News earlier quoted a police official investigating the incident as saying that a number of men attacked Al-Harbi while he was passing Peter Street around 4 A.M. Saturday. The police have urged witnesses to come forward and help them with the investigation. Meanwhile, Prince Muhammad Bin Nawaf Bin Abdul Aziz, Saudi Ambassador to UK, said he would raise the issue with the responsible authorities. He expressed confidence in the Manchester Police to identify the culprits and bring them to justice. Prince Muhammad also visited Al-Harbi at the main hospital in Manchester. He was also briefed on Al-Harbi's health by the doctors treating him and by Dr. Ali Bin Hamid Al-Ghamdi, the Saudi Health Attaché in the UK.
