AlHijjah 17, 1432, Nov 13, 2011, SPA - Following is the biography of Prince Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, who under a royal decree was appointed as Vice Governor of Riyadh Region at the rank of the Minister: Prince Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Vice Governor of Riyadh Region, was born in 1363 AH / 1944 AD in the Riyadh region. He studied at the School of Princes at Governance Palace and moved to the Institute of Alanjal in Riyadh. He was attached to the School of the Air Force in 1382 AH / 1962 AD and was sent to Britain to join the Royal Air Force College Cranwell and was trained on the aircraft (JETPROVEST) and graduated from it with a bachelor's degree in military science and aviation. He joined an advanced fighter flight course (HUNTER), then a combat aviation course (HUNTER) and then a fighter interceptor course (LIGHTNING) of all kinds. He returned to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and was appointed at the Sixth Squadron at Khamis Musheet base for LIGHTNING aircraft. He, then, went to Dhahran air base, where he was associated with aircraft (LIGHTNING) of all kinds. He fought Alwadaia'ah war. His plane was shot down outside the border by gunfire after flying between the mountains at a low altitude. He ejected out of the plane and was able to return after difficulties and great efforts. He was saved with the assistance of the Air Force and the support of the ground forces. He continued to work and fly on the same type of aircraft, then another incident happened when his plane crashed in a live-fire maneuver attended by then Prince Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior (the late King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz) and Egyptian Vice President Hosni Mubarak (former president of the Arab Republic of Egypt). Some weapons in the plane exploded at the end of the maneuver. He was able to eject himself out of the plane and the result was that he fractured a leg. He was later treated. After his medical recovery, he continued to fly until the year 1395 AH. In 1404 AH, he was appointed Deputy Governor of Qassim region and contributed to the region's numerous achievements and progress in various fields. In 1412 AH, he was appointed as an advisor to Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of the Interior. This position enabled him to practice various works and learned from Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, the Interior Minister, and his Deputy Prince Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz, the experience and know-how to address various issues.
