An Official Source of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated last night that at about 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, a group of demonstrators gathered in front of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Damascus and threw stones at the Embassy, then they stormed the building, but Syrian forces did not take the required procedures to prevent them, as they tampered with the contents of the Embassy and stayed for a while until Syrian security forces intervened and brought them out of the Embassy. "As the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strongly condemns this incident; Syrian authorities should shoulder the responsibility for the security and protection of Saudi interests and employees in Syria under international conventions and treaties," the official source added.
