Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region, congratulated Crown Prince Naif on his selection by the King and Allegiance-Pledge Commission as the Crown Prince, noting that the Saudi people are confident in the achievement of their aspirations by well-managed administration and the wisdom and of the Crown Prince. He also lauded the Crown Prince for security and stability in the Kingdom and his adherence to the Holy Quran and Prophet's Sunnah. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal said, "Our Arab region is full of events and accelerating changes and it needs a strong leader such as Crown Prince Naif who is the leader of reform and development, "adding that the Crown Prince has long experiences, wisdom and statesmanship.
