AlHijjah 13, 1432, Nov 9, 2011, SPA - Envoys of the diplomatic Quartet will meet separately with Palestinian and Israeli officials on November 14 in Jerusalem (Al-Quds), their latest effort to restart the stalled peace process, the U.S. State Department said Tuesday. “We expect these will again be Quartet envoy meetings with the parties separately,” spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told reporters, saying the meetings would seek to encourage both sides to offer concrete proposals on land and security questions. “Our U.S. envoy, David Hale, also has a scheduled meeting with Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on the 13th in Ramallah, and he will also meet with Israeli negotiator Yitzhak Molho probably on the 13th,” Nuland said. The Quartet is comprised of the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, and Russia.
