AlHijjah 10, 1432, Nov 6, 2011, SPA -- Investigations into possible negligent homicide are underway in Genoa, where four women and two children drowned in flooding on Friday, Italian media reported Sunday, according to dpa. In particular, Genoa's Mayor Marta Vincenzi has been criticized for not closing local schools on Friday, despite severe weather warnings. The Civil Protection board had issued warnings about the flooding, which claimed the six victims. All died on the Via Fereggiano, in the north-east of the harbour city, either through drowning or being trapped under floating cars in the flood waters. -- SPA
