AlHijjah 6, 1432, Nov 2, 2011, SPA -- The value of Saudi non-oil exports during the month of August increased to 12,647 million riyals compared to 11,208 million riyals during the same period last year, an increase of 1439 million riyals or 13%. The Department of General Statistics and Information said in a report that the exported weight during the month of August 2011 amounted to 3,456 thousand tons compared to 4,087 thousand tons during the same period last year, a decrease of 631 thousand tons or 15%. Petrochemical products represented 35% of the value of exported goods with a total value of 4,382 million riyals, followed by plastic products with 34% and value of 4,317 million riyals and re-exported goods by 11% and a value of 1,336 million riyals and then the rest of goods by 8% and a value of 1,110 million riyals.
