The late Crown Prince Sultan received the title of the Prominent Personality of the Arab Environment from numerous institutions concerned with the environment and wildlife affairs. He was selected as one of the world's ten persons who work to preserve the environment by an international agency. One of his initiative was adopting the chair of Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz for the environment and wildlife.
