"With his demise, the nation and the world have lost one of the most prominent leaders, who had worked for the service of his religion, nation and humanity as a whole. The following is a biography of the deceased Crown Prince: He was born in Riyadh on Shaaban 16, 1349AH corresponding to January 5, 1931AD; brought up by his father, the late King Abdul Aziz (May Allah bless his soul), the Founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, learnt the Holy Quran and Arabic language by senior scholars , and expanded his knowledge through diplomacy and visits. Crown Prince Sultan participated in most of Saudi official delegations headed by the Late King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (May Allah bless his soul), to attend Arab and Islamic Summits and the sessions of the General Assembly of the United Nations. --More
