AlQa'dah 22, 1432, Oct 20, 2011, SPA -- Libya's defence chief Jalal Al Digheily confirmed in a press conference in Benghazi on Thursday that the country's deposed eader, Moamer Gaddafi, was killed according to TV and news channels. "Although the Libyan revolution achieved one of its objectives byeliminating Gaddafi, the ultimate aim of the revolution is to rebuildthe nation on the basis of law, the constitution and justice," addedAl Digheily. He said attention should now focus on re-establishing security andcontrolling arms proliferation in the country. Footage broadcast on regional television stations showed the bodyof Gaddafi apparently inside an ambulance that took him from hishometown of Sirte to Misurata, located about 200 kilometres southeastof Tripoli.
