AlQa'dah 21, 1432, Oct 19, 2011, SPA -- The ninth meeting of the Supreme Military Committee of the GCC Armed Forces Chiefs of Staff was concluded here today. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Lt. Gen. Hamad Mohammed Thani Al-Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates. The meeting addressed the military and defense cooperation among the GCC members states, and reviewed the participation of the Peninsula Shield Forces with the Bahraini Defence Force in securing some vital installations in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the incidents that took place there recently.
