AlQa'dah 16, 1432, Oct 14, 2011, SPA -- Colombian police on Friday seized six tons of cocaine, worth an estimated 180 million dollars, in the central state of Meta, according to dpa. Anti-Narcotics Police hunting a paramilitary drug gang found the drugs in a hidden laboratory near the town of Puerto Gaitan, along with 120 tons of chemicals used for processing cocaine, said police commander General Luis Alberto Perez. Perez said the lab was capable of producing 500 to 800 kilos of cocaine a week. The lab was run by the Antisubversive Popular Army of Colombia, known as ERPAC, a paramilitary drug gang operating over a large part of central Colombia, Perez said. The bust produced no arrests.
