AlQa'dah 16, 1432, Oct 14, 2011, SPA -- Britain's Defense Secretary Liam Fox resigned Friday following a simmering scandal over his use of a close friend as an adviser, his office said. According to dpa, Fox, 50, said in his resignation letter that he had allowed the distinction between his personal interest and his government activities to "become blurred."
