AlQa'dah 13, 1432, Oct 11, 2011, SPA - The Foreign Ministry hosted a luncheon yesterday for the Chinese ambassador to the Kingdom Yang Honglin, who is leaving Saudi Arabia on completion of his diplomatic assignment. The Ministry's Under Secretary for protocol affairs, ambassador Alauddin Al-Askari handed over to Yang Honglin a shield of the Ministry in recognition of his efforts in strengthening the good relations between Saudi Arabia and China during his tenure as the ambassador in the Kingdom. For his part, Yang Honglin expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this honor. The ambassador expressed his happiness over his (diplomatic) works in the Kingdom and said he had made ??great efforts to bolster the excellent relations between the two countries. He also stressed that Saudi-Chinese relations will continue to progress in the interest of the two countries. The luncheon was attended by a number of ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom, and a number of prominent personalities from the private sector.
