The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held here today a farewell luncheon in honor of the ambassador of the Gabon to the Kingdom Ali Akber Botiji at the end of his tenure in the Kingdom. During the function, Alaa Al-deen Al-Askari, the Undersecretary for Protocol Affairs, handed over the Ministry's Shield to the ambassador in appreciation of the strenuous efforts he exerted to strengthen relations between his country and the Kingdom. For his part, ambassador Botiji expressed thanks to the Ministry, confirming that he was very happy for the period of work he spent in the Kingdom and the accomplishments he made for relations between the two countries. The event was attended by a number of Ministry senior officials, Shoura Council members, some diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom and prominent private sector representatives.
