AlQa'dah 9, 1432, Oct 7, 2011, SPA -- Kuwait's Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah underscored during a meeting with Italian foreign minister Franco Frattini Friday the importance of supporting the declaration of the Palestinian state. Kuwait has always backed the Palestinians either through advice or political action, Sheikh Mohammad, who was granted an honorary doctorate by the University for Foreigners of Perugia earlier today, told KUNA after the meeting. He said he discussed with Frattini regional and international issues foremost the ongoing efforts within the UN vis-a-vis the Palestinian membership bid.
