AlQa'dah 4, 1432, Oct 2, 2011, SPA - The International Islamic Relief Organization of Saudi Arabia (IIROSA) has dug recently a number of wells to provide drinking water to residents of several affected villages in Somalia, which are facing water scarcity and suffering from thirst-conditions. This has benefitted 50,000 displaced families due to drought. IIROSA has also provided 35 water tankers in the West Kasmayo region, about 530 kilometers from the capital city of Mogadishu. Additionally, food deliveries have also been sent to the displaced persons in the remote areas of the country.
