As many as 7,090 Somali families in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, have benefitted from the aid consignment distributed by the International Islamic Relief Organization of Saudi Arabia (IIROSA), an affiliate of the Muslim World League (MWL), containing 78,000 kilograms of various food items, clothing and medicines. IIROSA's Secretary-General Dr. Adnan bin Khalil Basha said the Organization has stepped up relief efforts to help the displaced people who came from some remote areas and some of them settled in camps in Mogadishu, after they had lost all possessions including houses, money and livestock.
