Lebanon's Mufti highlights king's decision on women's Majlis Al- Shura and municipal participation

Lebanon's Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani highlighted today the decision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Saudi women's participation in the membership of Majlis Al-Shura and their nomination as candidates in municipal elections, describing it as a royal decision in line with Islamic law's rulings.
In a statement today, Qabbani said the Islamic law's rulings preserve women's rights and dignity.
