A local Afghan government spokesman says a vehicle packed with explosives has blown up in front of a district police office in eastern Afghanistan, wounding two people, as AP reported. Provincial spokesman Din Mohammad Darwesh says police fired at the parked vehicle after the two people inside refused to move it. The vehicle then exploded. The Taliban claimed the explosion killed foreigners and Afghan policemen attending a security meeting at the office in Khosi district of Logar province. But Darwesh says no one died except the two attackers.
