Jordan's King Abdullah II on Saturday returned home after a working visit to the United States, where he headed Jordan's delegation to the 66th session of the United Nations UN General Assembly. The King said in remarks at the UN General Assembly that the Arab Spring can be an opportunity to institutionalize positive change that is necessary for a strong, secure, prosperous future in the Middle East. "we will continue to strongly support the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to statehood in fulfillment of their aspirations and in accordance with UN resolutions, and within a comprehensive and just settlement and the resolution of all final status issues," he was quoted as saying by Jordanian News Agency "Petra".
