King Abdullah II left here today for Brussels for a two-day working visit to Belgium during which he will hold talks with a number of European leaders taking part in a European People's Party (EPP) summit. King Abdullah II will discuss with the European leaders and EPP members, Euro-Jordanian ties as the Kingdom of Jordan has recently gained an advanced status partnership in its relationship with the bloc, Jordanian news agency "PETRA" reported. The King's meetings will also tackle ways to promote respect, co-existence, tolerance and understanding among followers of different religions in the light of the United Nations General Assembly's adoption last October of the World Interfaith Harmony Week proposed by King Abdullah II. The meetings will also touch on latest developments in the Middle East, namely challenges posed to achieving peace based on the two-state solution which is the gateway for comprehensive peace. --MORE
