King Abdullah II of Jordan received today a telephone call from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. During the telephone conversation, the two leaders discussed efforts exerted to achieve peace in the region in light of the Palestinian request to gain full membership for the State of Palestine at the United Nations. They also discussed issues of common interest.
