The 136th Regular Session of Arab League Council described the situation in Syria as still tense and most dangerous, demanding the Syrian leadership to make immediate changes that lead its country to stoppage of bloodshed and helping innocent people to evade more violence and killings. In a statement, the council underscored the importance of staging national dialogue in Syria that guarantees effective participation of all Syrian opposition forces in forging a smooth political change and reform that meet the aspirations of the Syrian people. A high-level AL delegation will head for Syria to fulfill the duties assigned by the Ministerial meeting once a ceasefire and stoppage of all kinds of violence were observed.
