General of the Arab League, Nabil Al-Arabi yesterday in which Syrian President Bashar Assad expressed his readiness to take some reform procedures and that these procedures will be submitted again at a meeting of Arab foreign ministers, Al-Nadwah noted that this announcement represents a bright spot in the efforts to persuade the Syrian leadership to take positive steps toward ending the violence and terminating the bloodshed in Syria. In its editorial entitled "Yes or No to a Palestinian state", Al-Riyadh newspaper said that the argument on the recognition of a Palestinian state on the territory before 1967, is a very complex task, noting that if the United States of America uses its veto at the UN Security Council against it, then the matter will be referred to the General Assembly for voting and it will be supported largely by Islamic and third worlds and other countries that do not link with Western policies opposing the recognition of a Palestinian State.
