German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will leave here tomorrow for a Middle East Tour including the territories belonging to the Palestinian Authority where he will hold talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the peace process in the (Middle East) region and the pursuit of Germany to persuade Ramallah postpone the request for Palestine's membership in the United Nations and other issues. From Ramallah, Westerwelle will proceed to Amman to meet Jordan's King Abdullah II and its Foreign Minister, said a spokesman of the German Foreign Ministry. The German Foreign Minister, then, will go to Tel Aviv for talks with his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the current deadlock in the (Mideast) peace talks, the deterioration of relations between Ankara and Tel Aviv and situations in Syria, Egypt and other issues.
