Five Afghan civilians were killed Monday when the vehicle they were travelling in was hit by a roadside bomb in the north-western province of Faryab, the Interior Ministry said. The incident took place in Shakh village in Qaisar district around noon, the ministry said. It blamed the bomb on the "enemies of peace and stability," according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA". "As a result, five civilians were martyred," the ministry said in a statement.
